  3. The members of Revis are as hungry as Creed and Nickelback, but confident enough to work without radio-tailored psychobabble for their first album. Places for Breathing is a post-alternative mix of explosive guitar riffs and riotous percussion, a strong musical disposition from this Midwestern five-piece.5/
  4. I have known about this album since it's original release and couldn't make up my mind on rather or not to purchase it. Then, Revis has been promoting their next release, "Fire & Ice" which sounds really good. So, to tide me over, I decided to buy, "Places for Breathing". I think the album is a good solid Modern rock CD. Nothing too agmoobidsoftpinniwallgopanancamul.coinfos:
  5. Revis — Spin — lyrics. Artist: Revis. Album: Places For Breathing. Year: Share: Likes: 0 I like it! Spin — English version. I can see your inner motive When you wear it on your face Indesposed to the world You won’t let yourself be saved Your the hand that spins my revolver around When you push me away On the waves of an ocean I.
  6. Revis builds upon their rock roots-driving rhythms, powerful vocals and memorable choruses-by adding spaced-out atmospherics and moody textures into the mix. Pensive lyrics and mournful chord structures give Places for Breathing an introspective feel, says bassist Bob Thiemann.
  7. May 20,  · Places for Breathing is an album that passes all of the expectations, although not perfect. Sound-wise, I could put this band next to Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, and Three Days Grace. Amidst these similarities, the band proves to be distinct from the pack. The vocals are stronger than in those bands, although not the best/5(98).

  9. Releasing only one album in entitled “places for breathing” (and a few songs in when they tried to get back together but broke up again!!) they captured magic! Their sound fits in with the post grunge of smile empty soul (whom I also love), shinedown, three days grace, etc but it’s unique as well.
